Spire Districts
RAW ✔️ The Aranthian Succession – Spire of Primus, p70
During a Reconquest of Primus Campaign, gangs fight for control of a special kind of Territory called Spire Districts. These are locations within Hive Primus' spire that those allied to the Imperial House are fighting through to reach Ozostium.
Each Spire District has Battle Effects that are applied to any battle fought where that Spire District is the stake. Additionally, they grant the holder a Boon, which is collected during Step 4: Collect Income of the post-battle sequence.
Each gang also controls a Clan Embassy Spire District that can never be challenged for as the stake for a battle and they can never lose control of.
Spire District Boons
Each Spire District grants the gang that controls it a benefit called a Boon. This Boon might be income, an additional gang member, a piece of rare or unique equipment or a special rule.
A gang receives the benefits of a Spire District's Boon so long as it holds that Spire District. Once the Spire District is lost to another gang, the Boon is lost.
Income
If a Spire District provides income for the gang that controls it, the gang adds the amount of credits shown to their Stash when generating income after all battles, including the battle in which it was won.
Recruit
Some Spire Districts grant gangs new fighters, Hired Guns or Hangers-on as recruits to the gang. These recruits incur no cost to recruit but do add to the Gang Rating and Wealth value.
Any gang fighter recruited from the gang's House List has no cost to recruit, but any equipment that is not part of the fighter's basic cost must be purchased at the normal cost, or supplied from the gang's Stash.
Any Hired Gun recruited as a Boon has no cost, and will remain with the gang for as long as they control the Spire District that grants the Boon.
Any Hanger-on recruited as a Boon does not count towards the maximum number of Hangers-on the gang may normally have, may be recruited without meeting the normal Reputation requirement and remains with the gang for as long as they control the Spire District that grants the boon.
Equipment
The gang adds the listed equipment type to its Stash. It is gained in the Post-battle Actions step of the post-battle sequence, immediately after the battle in which the Spire District was won and can be distributed amongst eligible fighters during the next step of the same post-battle sequence.
The equipment can never be sold or traded and if the Spire District is ever lost, then so is the equipment as it can no longer be maintained without the expertise present within the Spire District.
Special
The Boon grants a unique benefit to the gang that holds the Spire District. The benefit follows the rules listed in the relevant entry for the Spire District. If the Spire District is ever lost then so is the benefit.
Enhanced Boons
Some Spire Districts are more important to gangs from a particular House - an Escher gang might be able to grudgingly gain credits from the Grand Cathedral Imperialis, but to a Cawdor gang that same sacred site is a beacon of faith.
Many Spire Districts grant gangs of a named House one or more Enhanced Boons, listed below the Spire District Boons for each of the Spire Districts detailed on the following pages. If the Enhanced Boon is of the same type as the standard Spire District Boon (Income, Recruit, Equipment, Reputation or Special) then it replaces the standard Spire District Boon.
The remaining standard Spire District Boons listed for a Spire District are gained as normal by the gang controlling that Spire District, regardless of any Enhanced Boons.
Gaining and Controlling Spire Districts
The gaining of Spire Districts is at the heart of a Reconquest of Primus Campaign. Spire Districts are gained by winning a battle that has a Spire District as the stake. The only other way of gaining a Spire District is if two players agree to trade one in exchange for a Captive.
Reconquest Of Primus Campaign Spire Districts
CLAN EMBASSY
Every Clan House has an embassy from where they once communicated with their patrons in the spire. Now they have been transformed into strongholds from which their gangs can recruit reinforcements and strike out at other Spire Districts.
SPIRE DISTRICT BOON
Income: The gang earns 2D6x1O credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: The gang may choose to roll two D6 after every battle. On a roll of 6 on either dice, the gang may recruit a single Juve from their House List for free. If both dice come up as 6, then the gang may recruit a Ganger from their House List for free.
Rejuve Centre
Ace of Diamonds
Long are the lives of nobles that can afford it. With expensive technology imported from across the stars, the Rejuve Centre is not quite a fountain of eternal youth, but it will certainly give you a couple of extra centuries with enough stimm-cell injections, plumping bacteria and neural refreshers.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, during the Recovery & Restart step of the End phase, Seriously Injured fighters are all considered to have rolled a Flesh Wound, there is no need to roll any Injury dice.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit a Rogue Doc for free.
Spyrer Factoria
Two of Diamonds
Though the most monstrous patterns of Spyder rig are thought to be lost, those gleaming green shells turned out by Gerontius Helmawr's private factoria are still fearsome weapons in their own right. When a Helmawr comes of age, they are escorted to pristine white warehouses to be fitted for a custom set of armour - and have whichever limbs that don't fit inside it removed.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, Spyrers can re-roll one or both dice when rolling for Hunting Rig Glitches. All gangs ignore the Out of Ammo symbol on the Firepower dice.
Spire District Boon
Special: The gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Silvered Pavilion
Three of Diamonds
In the heart of the spire lies the Silvered Pavilion, a festival ground surrounded by several palaces belonging to the noble houses. The artificial screens lining the dome ceiling are filled with stars every few cycles as denizens of the spire take part in drinking competitions, provocative dances and the occasional duel to the death.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, failed Leadership tests may be re-rolled.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Limb Farms
Four of Diamonds
When a Spyre tires of the thrill of slaughter and has earned the right to return to high society, it is not easy to return their distended, often dismembered bodies to their original state. Luckily for young debutantes, the Limb Farms are on hand to cultivate new body parts from their cell samples to avoid ugly and unfashionable cybernetic replacements.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, roll a D6 whenever a fighter suffers a Flesh Wound. On a 5+, they do not suffer the Flesh Wound.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Special: Instead of collecting income, a gang may remove a Lasting Injury from a fighter. That fighter then goes into Recovery.
Psykanarium
Five of Diamonds
This Psykanarium is one of many, each kept carefully secret by Lord Helmawr. Its dome of blackstone-laced titanium cells are constantly filled with echoed screams as the psykers within are conditioned to serve him.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, Willpower tests may be re-rolled when manifesting Wyrd Powers.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit an Unsanctioned Indentured Psyker (see page 102) to their gang for free.
The Imperial Hangar
Six of Diamonds
Being powerful and popular comes with myriad threats, and sometimes a quick escape is necessary. This private landing bay is nestled below the entrance to the Imperial Spire and includes a range of expensive speeders in every shape and colour.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, gangs can re-roll one Injury dice when making Recovery tests.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Ulanti Grand Banquet Hall
Seven of Diamonds
There is something to be said for stuffing yourself with food until bursting and then purging your body so you can experience a completely different palate of flavours. The Ullanti have just the thing in their banquet hall, rows of lounging beds are interspersed with tables, each with an ornate bucket tucked beneath for the expulsion of bodily fluids.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, Standing and Active fighters may perform Consume Delicacies (Double) action.
Consume Delicacies (Double): The fighter may remove all Flesh Wounds and recover all Wounds they have lost in this battle. However, for the remainder of the battle they will automatically fail any Willpower tests they make. Each fighter may only perform this action once per battle.
In addition, at the end of battle, any Seriously Injured fighters are automatically considered to be Out Cold.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit a Slopper for free.
Jagerkin Forest Domes
Eight of Diamonds
The domes below the palace of House Greim are an artificial wonder of synthetic forests. It is here that their Jagerkin train and hunt for sport, though it is also quite a convenient place to 'lose' political enemies whilst on a House tour.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, the Visibility (10") rule is in effect.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit a Hive Watcher (see page 104) for free.
Haus De Catallus
Nine of Diamonds
The spire's prime opera venue is the pride of House Catallus. This theatre is carved from solid gold, each seat lined with purple velvet. Its prop rooms contain real and extremely rare weapons, after all, a romantic drama is not complete without a little bloodletting between rival suitors.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, no scenery should be placed within 6" of the centre of the battlefield. This area is considered to be the Stage. Any melee attacks made while within the Stage may re-roll failed rolls to hit and to wound.
Spire District Boon
Special: Any melee weapon the gang purchases in each post-battle sequence has its Availability level decreased by 1.
Onmyodo Temple
Ten of Diamonds
The training halls of the Omnyodo Covens are more like a maze than a temple. The building is made of countless rooms and corridors that can be rearranged at the press of a button. Only the psykers of House Ty could ever hope to navigate it.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, fighters are considered to be in partial cover when out in the open, and considered to be in full cover when they are in partial cover.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Grand Cathedral Imperialis
Jack of Diamonds
The Grand Cathedral is the jewel in House Ko'Iron's crown with most electing to meditate within its walls rather than dwell in their own palaces. Carved in the shape of a giant Aquila, almost every surface is gilded and carved with Imperial holy scripture. It is said that even the most vile blasphemers can feel the touch of the divine in the cathedral's air.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, Cawdor gangs generate an additional D3 Faith Dice during the End phase of each round. All other gangs can re-roll one hit or wound dice once per round.

Enhanced Boon
This Spire District grants Cawdor gangs the following Boon:
Income: A Cawdor gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Vaults of Primus
Queen of Diamonds
Few have ever stepped foot within the Vaults of Primus beyond their Ran Lo auditors. Though much of the Imperial House's wealth remains sealed off, those vaults left open during the nobles' flight from Hive Primus boast esoteric relics, many of which would immediately attract the Imperium's ire - were it to ever learn of their existence.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, any credits awarded by the scenario are doubled.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Imperial Stair
King of Diamonds
The Helmawrs would have their subjects believe that the Imperial Stair is the only way into the spire. This is nonsense to any Dome Runner worth their corpse-starch, though it holds true for most of the population - and, more importantly, their supply routes.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, the winner of the Scenario may recruit a Ganger from their House List for free during the Update Roster step of the post-battle sequence.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Xenos Archives
Ace of Spades
By the decree of Terra, every confiscated xenos weapon should go to the Imperium. Luckily, what the Imperium doesn't know can't hurt them, and the Helmawrs skimming a few acquisitions off the confiscated goods has not yet been noticed. Each is stashed in the sealed Xenos Archives until the Helmawrs might have need of them.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, weapons lose the Scarce trait. If they do not have the Scarce trait, they instead gain the Plentiful trait.

Income: The gang earns D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Special: The gang treats the Availability Level of the first Illegal (X) weapon they purchase during each post-battle sequence as Common.
Xenos Menageries
Two of Spades
A kilometres-wide gilded cage houses the nature reserves of the noble houses. Strange creatures from both deep underhive and off-world locales prowl the synthetic fields. As the noble houses have gone to ground whilst the War of Succession rages, it has been a worryingly long time since these beasts were fed.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, after both crews have deployed, set up D3+1 Beast's Lair markers starting with the winner of a roll-off (see page 194 of the Necromunda Core Rulebook).

Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit an Exotic Beast from their gang list for free.
Cinderak Cleansing Hub
Three of Spades
As both a popular and ruthlessly bloodthirsty leader, Lady Cinderak Helmawr had many locales posthumously take her name. Most famous for Necromundan nobles is the Cinderak Cleansing Hub, a great crystal pool of heated water attended by advanced massage servitors, where Lady Cinderak was said to spend several hours a day.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, fighters may re-roll failed Willpower tests.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Shrine of Ancestors
Four of Spades
Shrines are often small sites of tribute for their owners to pay quiet respects. Not so for the Helmawrs' Shrine of Ancestors, which boasts ten-foot statues of each past Lord Helmawr carved from Terran marble. Its ever-burning candles consume enough promethium daily to power a small army's worth of flamers.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, weapons with the Blaze trait increase their Strength and Damage characteristics by 1.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Imperial Observatorium
Five of Spades
The Imperial Astrologers have not been replaced since they were sent mad by the Great Darkness, and were granted Helmawr's peace by the Enforcers. All that remains is the empty Observatorium, full of star maps, esoterica, and bolt-riddled Astrologer corpses.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, each player rolls three D6 and puts them aside. The results of those dice can each be used once during the battle to replace any of that player's to hit, to wound, or save rolls.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 2D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Recruit: Instead of collecting income, a gang can choose to recruit a Sanctioned Indentured Psyker (see page 102) to their gang for free.
Helmawr Grand Armoury
Six of Spades
Attached to the Imperial Spire like a bulbous growth is Helmawr's own armoury, that has been expanded over the centuries to suit his enormous collection. This bunker boasts walls of master-crafted guns, ornate pistols and armour, all custom-made for Gerontius Helmawr's numerous and very spoilt children.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, each gang can upgrade D3 weapons to have the Master-crafted trait for free for the duration of the battle.
Spire District Boon
Special: The gang may halve the cost of a single weapon purchased from the Trading Post during each post-battle sequence, rounded up to the nearest five credits.
The Fountain of Night
Seven of Spades
The Fountain of Night is the jewel of the Spire Gardens. It flows with indigo waters and tiny shards of diamond, like a liquid midnight sky. There is enough water here to save entire districts from dehydration - so long as they don't mind the extra carbon crunch.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, fighters may re-roll failed Cool tests.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
Chymist Cult Toxin Gardens
Eight of Spades
Centuries of alliance between Houses Escher and Ullanti has produced a rather unique garden, high up within their palace grounds. Toxic flora that only grow in natural light are produced here for the Chymist Cults, provided the Ullanti receive their cut of elixirs. The beds of these gardens flourish in purple, blue, and a number of other eye-burning colours.

Income: An Escher gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Phyrr Lounge
Nine of Spades
Near the base of the spire lies the Phyrr Lounge, favoured stimm-den of Escher nobility and the occasional Ullanti brat party. Every chaise longue is upholstered in Phyrr-leopard pelts and the air is perfumed enough to feel heavy. Not all the stimms stored here are strictly legal, but being on the Imperial Spire's payroll has its perks.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, after both gangs have deployed their starting crews but before the first roll for Priority, both players select up to three of their fighters. The selected fighters gain the Berserker skill for the duration of the battle if they do not already have it.
Spire District Boon
Equipment: While it controls this Spire District, two fighters in the gang gain stimm-slug stashes for free.
The Gris Circenses
Ten of Spades
A series of pits line the Gris Dome, one of the many holdings of House Greim. Here they gather once a grand cycle and invite the most storied of Goliath gangers to engage in gory fights to the death. Those who survive are loaded with enough creds to last the year and given free entry to next year's semi-finals.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, fighters may re-roll failed rolls to hit when using weapons with the Melee trait. In addition, Goliath gangs subtract 1 from all Bottle checks.

The Mercury Palace
Jack of Spades
Lady Nola Orlock's marriage to Marzus Ran Lo was one of the most lavish affairs ever seen. The besotted young man constructed a brand new palace spire for his bride-to-be. Too bad they were both poisoned by Delaque agents during the reception, leaving an architectural wonder full of silence and unopened wedding gifts.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, an additional four Loot Caskets are placed upon the battlefield. The gang that opens the most Loot Caskets during the battle earns an additional 2D6x10 credits for the battle.

Income: An Orlock gang earns 3D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
The Stellar Dome
Queen of Spades
For many centuries, none besides the Helmawrs knew of the Delaque chamber nestled in a ruined dome behind the Imperial Spire. Then the Great Darkness came, which turned off auspex bafflers and killed their inter-hive information network. The Delaque despise their hand being tipped, and have already relocated elsewhere, leaving behind a vast but silent mechanical network.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, three fighters belonging to the challenged player gain the Infiltrate skill for the duration of the battle if they do not already have it.

Aurum Valley Tech Tower
King of Spades
A tower of gilded metal is the perfect place for Primus' biggest producer of tech. The Van Saar delegates that run it reserve their more interesting creations for their patrons in the spire, where nobles will spend thousands of credits just for a gun that shoots bullets with pink chemtrails or from a barrel shaped like Lord Helmawr's face.
Battle Effects: In a battle where this Spire District is the stake, fighters can re-roll all failed ammo tests.
Spire District Boon
Income: The gang earns D6x10 credits from this Spire District when collecting income.
